Up at 5.30am to get to the show on time is always fun on a Saturday morning, but it's the way it goes in the world of dog agility.

Wallingford Dog Show - April 2026 - is the second biggest agility show in the UK and holds all the YKC (Young Kennel Club) Crufts qualifiers and we were booked to compete in them all.

They were on fire and so connected right from the start, it's something to watch and I love seeing them work together in the ring - entering 5 competitions, they came 1st in 5 of her runs and 8th in the last one, not one elimination!!

So pleased to say that she qualified for the following:-

ADOTY - Agility dog of the Year (Agility and Jumping round)

Jumping Cup

ABC - Anything but collies

Just missing out on the Graduate Agility, but will have another go in June for that one!

Agility is a great sport for anyone who loves being with their dog and working with them to stay active and Woody will say the same, he absolutely loves it! Just know that there is a lot of travelling, but you make the best friends!!!
